Hudson Boiler & Tank Co. has always been a family owned and operated local business. Founded in 1940 by William Hudson, Hudson Boiler & Tank Co. has been in continuous operation under successful management since its founding. We are a corporation chartered in the State of Illinois for the purpose of steel platework, breechings, stack fabrication and erection, and boiler repairs.

The Corporation holds a license from the City of Chicago for assembly, repair, and installation of high and low pressure boilers and pressure vessels. We have a working agreement with Boilermakers Local #1. We have the “S”, “U”, “H”, “A”, and “PP” stamps, under ASME authorization and “R” stamp, as authorized by the National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors.

Our plant consists of 10,250 square feet of high ceiling buildings, serviced by overhead cranes of up to 10 ton capacity, and outdoor crane serviced areas of 5,000 square feet for storage facilities. The plant is equipped with modern equipment for steel plate shearing, oxy-acetylene and plasma cutting, rolling, etc., and complete facilities for manual and semi-automatic welding of mild steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys

Hudson Boiler continues today to service most major industries in the metropolitan area as well as well as the owners and managers of large commercial and residential properties throughout the metro area.
